Living in a sustainable manner requires the restructuring of the environment. This is because of the importance of enhancing the relationship between the natural world and the value of humanness. In addition, open conversations regarding morality in the society are an influential factor, which determines the attainment of the ideal environment with reference to sustainable living. Nonetheless, inhabitants of the modern society uphold varying moral principles especially due to the technological developments (Peterson 91). For instance, western cultures promote diversity in social values. This has resulted in an alteration of the moral principles upheld by different individuals. This aspect poses a threat to social advancements. Future generations may not understand the essence of Native American cultures and their influence on the modern community. Furthermore, neglecting the natural environment will have a negative effect on certain habitats that are essential in comprehending the Native American culture (James 82). Human interferences on these habitations will have an impact of the growth of future generations. Subsequently, it will be difficult to enlighten the public on sustainable living.

There are various lessons that individuals
within the contemporary western society can learn from the native cultures. To
start with, conservation of the natural environment is the responsibility of
every individual. There is a unique yet essential connection between humanness
and nature. Based on this argument, people within the modern western cultures
should use their positions in the society to execute this mandate (Des 19). In
addition, the promotion of certain moral values in the community requires detailed
conversations among all entities in the society. This is pivotal in ensuring
that modern developments do not affect the principles of the Native American
society. Consequently, future generations will comprehend the importance of
sustainable living.
