Prompt One
My favorite and most meaningful job has been that of a mechanic engineer. Before getting this employment, I had served as a janitor and personal assistant in an office. My job description entailed cleaning of office blocks and maintaining of hygiene at the washrooms as a janitor. Working as a personal assistant in an office proved a harsh experience to me, as I was not accustomed to it. I only had basic information and expertise with computers. My level of education did not merit advancement in most white-collar jobs. The pressure of having to provide for my young family facilitated the change in employment. I decided to take up the mechanical job, as I felt I could manage it well and learn more from the experience gained.
Prompt Two
Several factors have made the job the most valuable and enjoyable to me. I have always been attracted to engines and tools from a tender age. I had the passion ever since I watched my father drive and fix his vehicle whenever it had mechanical problems. I enjoy repairing my own car and getting to understand how machines operate at different intervals. The job also allows me to work at the comfort of operations without a demanding time schedule, unlike the office setup. Due to the growing use of vehicles and demand for mechanical services, it ensures that I have employment throughout the year. The amount of salary I receive from the work I do enables me to provide for my family on a stable basis. I also get to interact and socialize with different people from all professions, social classes, and ethnic backgrounds. It is ultimately my profession of choice.
