In definition, the Eastern Orthodox Church is a branch of Christianity that has its roots in the early church with its roots mainly in the early days church particularly one developed by the Romans. It dates back to after Jesus Christ resurrected with a preservation of many original and religious teachers of his disciples and his leadership from then to the present. The Eastern Orthodox Church links up the sacrament of marriage to that of the Eucharist because to them one is promise of an eternal bond with one between two individuals and another as a sacrament of mystery. According to the church however, it is impossible to end a covenant made between man, his wife and God because they create a sacred estate that interconnects all of them. The sacrament pf the Eucharist provides the believers with the most important opportunity to enjoy the sacrament of their marriage as an agreement between each other and between them and the Kingdom.
It has numerous similarities to other denominations. First, it is Christian based and therefore relies on the bible, God and the Scriptural aspects such as John 3; 16, “or God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. In addition to the similarities, there is the belief in the bond between Christians and the sacrament. There are many differences from the Roman Catholic Church on the other hand such as, the Easter Orthodox Church is a strong believer of reasons ad faith whereas Catholic church stick solely to the bible in this case.
