In most organizations, executives and members of the top management have focused on integrating skills important to the daily activities of the organization. One of these skills comprises writing. In light of this statement, I am requesting the firm to assist me in funding a course dedicated to enhance writing skills among managers. The course, Writing for Managers, will be possible through cooperation with the management and funding from the organization. Accordingly, there are several justifications for funding the course within the organization. Foremost, encouraging administrators to participate in it will augment the organization’s learning community. Generally, learning communities are important for any firm since they maintain cooperation and harmony among persons in the workplace. Therefore, in this respect, the Writing for Managers course will enhance the management as an effective learning community. Individuals will be able to form good working relationships that will strengthen the internal environment.
Another reason for the course involves the dissemination of information. Usually, most organizations incur problems, which are outcomes of misconstrued data. One of the factors responsible for such data is the filtering of information. Occasionally, when information passes down from the top management to the subordinates, it undergoes considerable filtering as it goes through different levels of hierarchy. The final product is largely, a different set of details from what the management conveyed. Hence, the course will instruct managers on the importance of information. Following this, the class will also provide the management with a formal and fixed way of conveying information. In addition to this, the course will also assist the management to create important documents effectively. Such documents may comprise circulars and company-wide memos as well as business proposals for the executives. Based on these reasons, I will be happy if you acknowledged my recommendation in order to finance the course.
